Roy , e boolean's posts from WWDC suggests Rhapsody lives

Rumors of its OS death were greatly over exaggerated but it may not be the same for MSFT's IE and Windows OS .

A developer , who just happens to be president of a 17,000 member JAVA developers organization , intends a "3rd party" IE suit:

techweb.com

He shouldn't have a difficult time obtaining about 16,999 supporting witnesses and the State AGs expect to file suit on Thursday with the Feds:

Thursday - Isn't the WWDC still meeting then ? hehehe !

poor interpretation of the facts. These "Rhapsody is dead" [are] among these..

I made that comment and I stand by it. Developers refused to develop for Rhapsody so Apple dropped it.

Yes, there will be a belated release later on this year, and yes they are using the core technology to develop MacOS X, but Rhapsody is no more.

(To exemplify, the Mac was based on technologies developed for Lisa, but Lisa was DOA and the fact that some of it's design ideas and code lives on the Mac doesn't change its mortuary status).
