DOJ, Cut microsoft off at the knees!

My, my .... the two-bit wanna-be tyrants are coming out. You know, freedom works. If you don't like Microsoft's products, don't buy them.

Just one thing I have to say to Janet Reno... cut them in half, if you have the balls.

Don't worry, she does. And the tanks, too.

>Where did they get the idea for clickable icons?-- Apple, from whom they stole programmers to write Win 3

Do you know where did Apple get the idea for clickable icons?-- Xerox research center.

>They did NOT innovate their Web browser, they COPIED Navigator!

No. They LICENSED it from SPYGLASS.

>Just one thing I have to say to Janet Reno... cut them in half, if you have the balls.

Do you know how come DOJ just keep barking without doing anything, because NO BALLS.

As to your comment: "Let's put things in perspective micro serfs! " I think you need to review your history. Let's redirect your perspective:"Does anyone remember Windows ver. 1.0 and 2.0 ? Where did they get the idea for clickable icons?-- Apple"

And where did Apple get the idea for clickable icons David?--XEROX

This ends your lesson for the day.
Regards,
Brian

Yup I really liked Microsoft products until I saw Excel 5.0 and Word 6.0 for the Mac. They were total crap. Excel 5.0 went from a 2MB RAM requirement for Excel 4.0 to 16MB. At the time most Macs were being sold with 16MB at most. Word 6.0 was slightly more economical with memory but went soooo slow even on a PowerMac. Besides it looked like a Windows product. Since then MSFT has done little to improve my impression. Unfortunately we have to use MSFT products for compatibility reasons. I still use Excel 4.0 and Word 5.1 because they are workable products.
