Well, I'm off again for the week. Check my profile for the vehicle of travel this time. Everyone take care and keep the markets up for me. I might be able to plug in somewhere along the route.

I think the MMs have already played up the networking sector prior to the Networld / Interop show, and they were waiting for some "block busting" announcements that did not materialize. We may see some more retreating in the sector for a couple of days. Especially with this being options week. What the heck is going on in BAY?

Later, take care everyone, and type to you next week.

jack

PS: Please don't let any mergers take place before I get back.

Yes, we could all retire and live as Kings in Ecuador (for just $10,000 us) - the most beautiful country to go hiking around from Amazon tributaries running through jungles to snowy cap volcanic peaks. Where the average US citizen stands out in a crowded market, and for the first time in his/her life, knows what a basket ball player must feel like - towering over the general population.

(Man... I don't know what brought that on. I must be recovering...)

Jack --

You have to lay off the Nyquill. Those are market fantasies you're having. All those little people are the stocks you don't own. The guy playing center is your portfolio, hitting everything it throws.

As for predictions, I figure if you're going to be wrong, be way wrong... and if you are going to be right, be way right!

Wasn't it Martin Luther who said, "If you're going to sin, sin boldly!"

Have a good day --- it's still raining here so I may just go to a movie. Still haven't seen Butcher Boy. Saw Spanish Prisoner last night. A David Mamet film, strange, yet compelling at the same time. I'm convinced you have to see it twice just to pick up all the clues you missed the first time. Sort of like the market. :)

Later --

Pat
