NEW YORK, May 12 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston said it raised its rating on Hewlett-Packard Co. to buy from hold and added the company to its Focus List.

-- Hewlett-Packard was up 13/16 at 77-7/16 in morning trading.
