I think it was conjecture, or second-hand 'from the company'. Nowhere to my knowledge has the company made a clear and unequivocal statement about shares outstanding. They clearly have the opportunity to post here and to Yahoo, and one would like to think that they actually count and know how many shares are out ..... but, they don't tell us.
