I think the oil service stocks are in a downtrend too.

<TA> The stochastics for the sector are back in sync.
The majority of issues are falling through the midrange stochastic reading on their way to oversold. If they follow the usual pattern we should get 3 to 5 more down days, perhaps with 1 or 2 slight up days in between. Although we have had a couple of fake out moves in the past 3 months, this is the more likely scenario. I think there are enough worries about a general market correction to bring us into the oversold range on most of the stocks in the sector. For me it's too late to sell anything (I sold a little yesterday morning, but not as much as I wanted as many of my limit orders were never met. Sold TDW, TMAR, UTI, DO) unless we get a pop up today.

Some stocks are already in the oversold range:
1) Sea drillers: MDCO & SDC

2) Land drillers: PTEN, PKD, BDI, & PDS

3) Big Co's: BHI
rgdoczzz.home.texas.net
4) General Service: SESI
rgdoczzz.home.texas.net
5) Boats & Fabs: None

The rest are almost without exception falling from a overbought position.

I imagine the ones already in the oversold range won't start going up until they are joined by the others (they fall enough to get them oversold).

Hopefully I'll have the fundamentals pages updated today.

I wanted to get through all the earnings announcements before updating (Plus I've been playing a lot of Quake II online!)
