Hi Art,
The word I received was that today, the 12th, was the day they were going to release the report. I also heard that it was going to be negative, although, not horrible. My source and I were, and are, very interested in how they are going to report the ELAN stock swap. I will try and get in touch with him and see if I can be more exact.
Greg

No one is expecting much on the qtr but this will give Jim the opportunity to tell everyone on the conference call about the pre-clinicals with the gluclose monitor. The stock got way overbought now getting over-sold.

Art,

I also don't expect that the Q4 numbers will be very encouraging. I don't have any idea when they are scheduled to be released. However, the FY97 and 97Q4 numbers were released on June 3, 1997. So, we may need to exercise some patience. The FY numbers need to be audited before release.

I spoke with someone who visited the company yesterday (May 12) and saw that a shareholder newsletter had been produced and was being mailed. So keep an eye on your mailbox, if you are on the mailing list.

We closed trading for today on a high note. Hopefully the profit taking is over and supply will dry up. We'll see.

Regards,
Marc Kahn
