Read some research reports. Apparently, there was some confusion over eps calculation and tax rate. Certain analysts believe they should have used 53 mil shares as opposed to 47. Wagner indicated they did not because it would have been accretive rather than dilutive - the extra shares relate to convertible debt so if you them in you also have to add back the related interest expense to net income. Also, tax rate was thought to be low but Wagner explained this too. If analyst ratings were based on these incorrect assumptions, ptek is truly at a gift price now. Only time will tell.
