This all depends on who is buying and on what currency. If I was a Japanese DD manufacturer, then currency have minimal effect. However, why would I be buying US components if the exchange rate is not in my favor. Japanese company relationships are different than that in the US. They tend to buy more from their own.

No, I am just giving information that investors should consider. There is always a buy point that will get you the expected return and believe that the downside risk is minimal. Each investor would have to determine that for themself.

As for Dr. Re, I have personally met him once. I think announcements tend to have positive spins. I guess you can say he has senior management positions by being a director for 6 months.
