William, I understand what your saying. I don't like the silence either; however, Compaq management has always been the silent type unlike Dell or others. As for BTO and the inventory issue...I only know what I hear and read. Maybe someone on this thread has some "inside" info. It's hard to believe that not one COmpaq employee read this thread. Perhaps, they're sworn to silence as well. If your long time holder...just sit back and relax. Buy some puts for downside protection and MAYBE sell covered calls to earn some monthly income. I was at CompUSA thinking about buying a new 400MHZ computer. The salesman was hyping the HP model. Since I don't own any HP...I didn't like that. I wish Compaq has a white colored 400MHZ computer. -Eddie
