Bill,, MMs will go both long and short on a stock ,, i/e/, ATEC is a Meyerson stock and they are long in it ,, yet they wil go short with out a flinch ,, that is how they make their money ,, For instance,, Whale has a large position on TAVA they went long with many of us at 4 1/2.. yet they have a trading desk ,, solely on TAVA ,, this schmuk ,, who used to eat my burrito before I gave my restaurant away to my cook ,,, used to go long and short 50,000 to 100,000 shares all day ,,for 1/8th 1/4 .. 1/2 ,, it's a lot of mullah in a day ,, I used to call him and give him a shit ..
