Time Traveler (off topic, monitor follow-up),

I have also heard that monitor/card combinations make a big difference at high resolutions. The Matrox Millenium is supposed to give crisp resolution at 1600x1200 on the P815. Also, if you want good resolution you need a small dot pitch monitor. If you want good color saturation, you want an aperture grill monitor (trinitron or Mitsubishi). Hitachi has the finest dot pitch I've seen, but I've read some bad reviews. Try www.netbuyer.com. They have links to magazine reviews and consumer testimonials.
