If 62% of IT professionals said they WOULD leave their money in the banks, what do they know that the 38% don't?

So, if 38% of aircraft maintenance workers said don't fly in their airplanes, would you still fly? If 38% of apple growers said not to eat their apples, would you still eat them? If 38% of the employees in a company said not to invest in it, would you still buy that stock?

If so, would it matter to you if I raised the percentage to 50.1%, a majority? Is there some magic line that must be crossed to convince you there is a problem?

I'm not saying I will take my money out of banks come mid '99, but if those numbers hold steady, I'd be mighty tempted.

In anticipation of credit card problems,

American Express has only issued cards that expire in 1999. Unless they changed the policy recently, they are holding back until they are certain there shall be a minimal amount of problems that are Year 2000 related.
