I have not been extremely impressed with the quality of the Yahoo board's posts, at least not compared with SI.

<<A guy posted on Yahoo IDTC board said IDTC will buy DGIV, any comment?>>

Socrates, I think the poster was confused. It will not be DGIV that gets bought out...

1) The telcos and their respective host countries and/or gov'ts that have agreements with DGIV have partnered not only with DGIV but with Jim Chin as well. They not only trust the technology and its income producing potential but JC as well. IMO,the latter may actually be more important to DGIV's success than anything else---yes, even the technology. A rare incidence of the " warm and fuzzies " trumping pure economics. That said, I don't see JC/DGIV trading in those relationships; either because of his nature and/or because of some contractual nuances we know nothing of.

2) Besides, as its been said before, JC has something to prove and it won't be proven with a premature buy-out. Anyway, you gotta believe --- based upon recent history--- that JC is one of those guys who really wants to see shareholders prosper. I really do believe he gets a big kick out of it. Selling the company within the near term would spoil the fun.
