V1, This is what I dug up for ASCO and LGND.
Message 4436086 Henry's reply was interesting in terms of efficient market theory.

It will be interesting to me to watch the spin next week in the battle that is tamoxifen vs raloxifene.

While I'm posting to you, what do you think of LGND/SRGN? Do you think LGND has already started trying to find a partner for some of SRGN's other compounds? squetch

Check out MOGN today. Holy Sh*t it's a rocket to the stars!!! Major quantum leap up 65% at the moment. Guess I'd better go read the press releases to understand what's up, besides the stock. Since we don't pay taxes and have a churn penalty, is there a point we should sell at the peak and buy back later after it drops off??? Lot's of buying power in the kitty after today. My compliments to the chef, one hell of a pick guy!!! A one day double in the profits since we started the model. You seem to be getting better at this all the time @;->

INCY up nicely today too, back to $38. Mr. Conservative we should have spent the whole buy power on it Monday, even if we planned to take some profit. I've sure been trying to do my part by clarifying the issues.

Congrats on the great pick. Hope your PA is fully loaded with MOGN!!!

V1,

I was thinking of you today while eating lunch at the Tewksbury Inn. We ordered a plate of their infamous onion rings -- they are still on the menu -- and enjoyed them and in the charm of the old bar room.

When I arrived back at the office I logged onto a real-time screen and noticed that MOGN was @ 7 3/4. A couple of minutes later I started to turn off the computer and refreshed the screen before logging off. The numbers did not make sense so I refreshed again. Then I did it again. Then I called Minneapolis.

With no late breaking news from the company, I just don't know where the late afternoon buyers came from to plunk down $$ to buy 3.5 million shares. After last week's roller coaster experience with ENMD, I can't see investors, sophisticated of otherwise, swarming over a stock without some good reason.

Today there were lots of paper profits. It is all still paper though. Tomorrow will be telling.

David

New England Journal of Medicine Publishes Data Showing Aviron's FluMist(TM) Vaccine Is 93% Effective Against Influenza

Wednesday May 13, 5:00 pm Eastern Time

Company Press Release

SOURCE: Aviron

New Data Show 98 Percent Protection Against Flu-Related Otitis Media (Ear Infections)

Aviron should continue its upward movement tomorrow and for a few days I would think. We should load up on some. Do you have access to pricing for afterhours trading? It seems to me that the Fantasy Brokerage supports after hours trading and that in cases like this we should be loading up before the market opens.
