To call your certs simply call your broker and say "Please send me XXX shares in cert form. There usually is a fee. Check with your broker to find out"

If you get your certs, doesn't it make it more difficult to sell on the fly?

Just call your broker and ask for your Stock Certificates. If this is done by all, and there really is some massive shorting done, forget $1.00 dollar and look more for $5.00.
