Customer Research looks bad for IOM

biz.yahoo.com

"However, 91 percent of survey respondents said that, given the choice, they would prefer a disk drive that offers the option to use both higher-capacity diskettes and their existing 1.44 megabyte diskettes. Only 5 percent said they would prefer a disk drive that uses higher-capacity diskettes, but discontinues use of the lower- capacity option. (Four percent said they did not know which option they would prefer)."

This Imation customer research I'm sure has Sony overjoyed. Sony's HiFi product specs are 10 times better than Imation Superdisc's. With the iMac's introduction, people are going to insist that the drive they buy can handle 1.44MB floppies. Folks, Sony is going to win this war.

Iomega = Atari.

Do you know what the highest-selling video game is now?

That's right, it's a Sony.
