Since it's between 12 1/2 and 16 right now, you win!!

I think the chart will move to the right. <g>

[sorry - good CCs get me this way sometimes.]

All: On a fully diluted basis, TAVA has approximately 25 million shares (including all options). At 13, this gives a market cap of $325 Million.

Results: This release is NOT all bad ... although it is pretty ugly considering the market cap. The disappointing revenue growth is primarily a result of the continued decline in the core business. I estimated the core business at a little over $9M this quarter ... instead it was about $8.2M. It appears this business is deteriorating faster than expected.

Y2K consulting is the bright spot, this came in exactly at my forecast of about $3.5 Million. Congratulations to TAVA! They also appear to have cut costs (although the discussion of increased future overhead spending is scary). I need to see the 10-Q before I write a report for the TAVA Research thread on the financials of TAVA.

The CD-ROM is dead (as Patrick and I pointed out months ago). They only sell this to customers that sign up for consulting and it will never sell in significant quantities to non-consulting customers. This has always been the TAVA "red herring".

Next quarter, Y2K consulting should increase to about $6 or $7 Million. Add in about $8 Million for their core business and the overall business will be about $14 or $15 Million. Great increase! But cash flow will be negative, earnings will be modest and investors will realize this is a consulting company with a "bubble" opportunity.

Regards to All,
Bill

I have to agree with Michael and Frank on this one the numbers are very unimpressive stocks with much better earnings results are getting creamed.

260 million dollar market, .01 per share earnings?
