Part of reason for lackluster response, besides DSC always seeming to go down on news announcements, is that on CNBC today the technician Dorsey Wright (?sp) was asked about DSC's stock prospects and he said "dismal" and "avoid the stock." While he has a strong following, the accuracy of his predictions on CNBC have only been mixed.

Ramsey,
My last post (#4040) talked about rumors of impending layoffs. The layoffs did happen much like the end of 1997. ABout 1.5 times the size of the last layoff plus consolidating remaining employees in affected departments into better performing departments. A lot of resume updating going on right now at DSC.
