How many times could Dell split? There's already about 600M Dell shares.

MSFT has about 2.4 Billion.
INTC has about 1.6 Billion.

Can these guys split to infinity?

>>> Is DELL special, Lucky, In the right place at the right time, or just Yet to show signs of the problems that are plaguing the industry and therefore the the companies in the industry ? <<<

special - yes, lucky - (make that skillful), right place, right time - yes. Can it avoid the problems? remains to be seen, but so far - OK!

True, Intel is struggling currently, but as the speed increases, the engineering is staggering! If there was a 'break' in development, where a company could 'rest' a bit, the revenues would rise. (IMHO)

The disk mfgrs. will make more money when they get to 'nibble' access, reading 'multi-platters' at the same time. (IMHO)

Last question as to whether DELL will be able to avoid the 'trend', we have to look at what period of time. So far it has done really well!

Regards,

Ken
