Your broker is right. I verified with my Series 7 gal as well. The TA and brokerages do all the coordination of certs, name changes, etc.

As I have said, this news is an automatic requirement for short positions to cover. Investors do not also have to call their certs to force the cover. Just the name, symbol changes and warrants alone force the cover.

You need not call in shares for the change in name, what that request signals is that the shorts better beware.
