Let's say the stock didn't split, wouldn't it continue up, be it slower or faster (doesn't matter)? Doesn't a stock 'always' split at or near the top? Since the 'top' is always moving 'up' (by definition of 'top') how can a stock NOT SPLIT AT OR NEAR THE TOP?

I'm 'scratching my head' on this one!
