I remember reading of some Y2000 Bank Card horror stories; that's where I read about the approach employed by AMEX.

Perhaps you should try using those post 2000 cards as your primaries and see what happens. At least you have the others to fall back on.

*AV*--Dorsey Wright is becoming positive Small Caps vs Large Caps, or Value Line vs S&P for the first time in a long time.

The SOX is turning positive even though it was down almost 4 points today.

I am still slightly bearish on AMAT for the earnings release this afternoon.

For those not clued in, CY is laying off close to 150 profressionals in MN which is not a good sign. However, this is the older facility and not the advanced manufacturing sites in TX. Also, this was mentioned in the earnings conference call. This is not new news but rather old news.

Finally, for those involved in the great SI T-shirt Affair, I have confrimation that it is indeed real with no strings attached. This is a gift to the membership and Jeff was not pulling a fast one.<GG>
