In order to speculate on any of this someone would need to know how an MM gets paid. Based on what? number of trades? Commision of trades? I doubt they get a straight salary.

I hate to think it was possible but they could be friends of the shorts and may be getting kick backs... It must happen... That is a lot of money...

I have heard that shorts are not not watched very carefully in the pennies... But every time we have a small sell the bid kicks down... But when we have had major buys the ask does not change... Something to wonder about...
