Susanne,

I went back and looked at the earnings report for the last couple of qts, also looked at press releases during the qtr. There is nothing that can provide an earnings surprise on the upside (just my opinion).

HWP does have a big global presence. Is Europe strong enough to offset a weak Asia?

Do you see anything that I might have overlooked?

Ramsey

<<<This rise in the stock price is uncharacteristic of HP and makes me think somebody knows something I don't. >>>

It's primarily the upgrades of Salomon, First Boston and Prudential
that has driven the stock. Goldman Sacks also had huge blocks
on the buy side. Wait till Fidelity starts buying, which they will
as soon as there is a positive earnings surprise. Long term
holders will remember similar movement in '93, when Magellan
had HWP as their #2 holding.
