Me neither. :-)

There are several people on this thread who saw mostly negatives in the conference call. Nobody "KNOWS better." I can't KNOW and neither can you.

Why the big drop? My best guess is that people were disappointed in the earnings and did not want to wait another quarter, plus MM games (especially in the last hour), and maybe the overall dip in Y2K stocks and the Indian effect.

Sooo, what next. I'm waiting for NMS status and the next contract announcements. Perhaps Jenkins and Co. did not like today's post-CC action either and will help it to bounce back soon. Also, TAVA likes 13 now. Even it drops below 13 for a day or two, it comes right back.
I think people will see a buying opportunity in the next day or two. TAVA may not go much above 13 right now but I don't see it staying below, excepting some unknown factor.

Craig,

The close looked worse than it actually was. Watched the last fifteen minutes of the market on poor man's LII:

fast.quote.com

Saw one block of 25k and two blocks of 10k go off at the offer. Someone with real LII could confirm.

We could see more deterioration in price but that will hopefully be temporary.

Craig,

I think you are too nervous about this today. Jenkins et.al. are too sharp and savvy to have exploited the cc in a way that many of us would have wanted. I think they were in control. I'll bet there will be a sequence like this:

1. Conference Call...basically good news. Cautious in projections and guidance. Tightly controlled, not including all the "interesting" stuff we crave to hear more about. However, no doubt about the outlook...very, very positive, stated in a way that anyone following TAVA can interpret with great expectations.

2. NMS status becomes effective. Greater visibility in places that count.

3. Great announcements time-released regarding all the good stuff we hungered for in the conference call...per the usual Jenkins strategy..

4. Rising stock price.

We learned a long time ago to think differently about TAVA than we do many other companies...

Best,
cd
