This guarantees that NCD (and its competitors) will not have to compete with Intel directly (for a specified period of time).

This implies that NCD will have a "preferred" status with Intel, and get Intel's seal of approval - extremely valuable in a tight margin market.

This also guarantees that NCD will get chip pricing that is at most equivalent to the pricing offered to the market leader (hopefully this will be NCD!).

This is very positive!
