" PARIS, May 13 (Reuters) - France's CFDT trade union said on Wednesday it feared at least 650 layoffs by International Business Machines Corp (IBM - news) and it was taking court action to seek more information from the U.S. computer group. The CFDT union said in a statement that IBM had announced various layoff plans at local level in 1998, but it believed there was an overall restructuring plan behind the series of piecemeal announcements. A hearing would take place at a Nanterre court outside Paris on Friday May 15 at 0900 GMT. "
