Update on Philippines elections: VICE President Joseph Estrada won in all the regions except Bicol, the Ilocos and Central Visayas, according to a nationwide exit poll conducted by the Social Weather Stations Inc. SWS head Mahar Mangahas yesterday disclosed that 38.7 percent of the 4,800 voters interviewed for the exit poll went for Estrada, a former movie star. Results of the SWS exit poll were similar to the findings of a survey conducted by dzRH on election day. Estrada got 34.6 percent in the exit poll that the private radio network had run in Manila and several other big cities.
