My sister-in-law is an Art History major. A real purist. She also went to some small village in Italy to suffer for a year so she could get her degree. What was the name of that hovel? Corona? Cordova? Cordite?

Anyway, she came back to the states and found out that the only job an Art History major could get in the South was teaching Art History at a backwater redneck junior college for less than they pay at Mickey D's. She got a job as a Graduate Assistant at a "real" college so she could afford to eat while she got a degree in Graphic Arts so she could afford to buy clothes. Now she's sunk so low that she's in MARKETING and ADVERTISING! (Insert screams here.) She does ads and promotions for a national tuxedo rental chain. No, not the one you're thinking of. The other one. Now the little snot makes as much as I do, and I have a REAL JOB (Super-Geeky Senior Software "Engineer").

What's the moral of this little yarn? Just when you think things couldn't possibly get ANY WORSE, don't worry! You still have a LONG way to sink before you hit bottom.
