Hey MW, and no, it is not Jeb.

I searched for Jeb as an alias and couldn't find him, so I assume that is someone you know personally.

I got a little concerned that the company would even care what people put on the internet. I don't see what difference it would make to them.

My cost basis on SRCM is 15 5/8 and is about 3% of my portfolio. I am really using it as a hedge for my position in HLIT. So, no I don't have a big position that I am badly hurt on. I am having a lot of fun following it though. Next week I will probably focus on some other position in my portfolio.

As far as your points on the business, I have covered all those issues. And you are correct, the earnings release will give us real data to start evaluating the telephone business.

And you are correct, all shorts must eventually cover, and thus are just future buyers. If the business is sound and fairly valued, they will eventually help the stock rise.

Which brings us to the ultimate issue: Is this business sound and fairly valued?

Time will tell.
