I don't suppose you remember the name of the Y2K products? With enough gloom and doom about Y2K, I'm sure some copies will be sold. Personally, if I was going to get a product of that nature, I'd get something like Quarterdeck TuneUp, or CyberMedia OilChange which do all patches, not just Y2K related fixes. There's one penny stock on SI with a PC Y2K product, but they aren't quite ready to ship their product yet. I bet others show up in the next year. CompUSA up here often has close out PC books, just slightly older titles or less popular products.
