You might want to look at that from a different point of view.

28% voted against Jerry and CalPers ONLY HAD 500,000 shares. That means a lot of others voted with Calpers. If AMD shareholders are lucky, this trend will expand and perhaps next year Jerry will be gone. If Intel's lucky, Jerry will stay in charge. He's the best thing for Intel. AMD would be a long term profitable company without Jerry.
