Hi, Tom.

I listened to the call today and spoke to a couple of the analysts afterwards.

The stock went down today for one main reason. CFO Rogers provided guidance for 1999 for the first time ever. He projected $1.43, which is a good 12 cents below the consensus of the four bulls (leaving out Schroeder's skeptical analyst - who was at $1.25). Superbull (and IPO and secondary underwriter Cowen's analyst) Kathy Miner was all the way up at $1.65. So everybody's numbers must come down. The worry is that Miner and Lee @ H&Q might cut their ratings (from "Strong Buys") as well.

We should know tomorrow morning. Last Q all of the analysts put out their First Call notes the following morning after earnings.

The $1.43 also raised some eyebrows as to whether or not the IMM acquisition would truly be accretive next year.

There was also some concern about the growth in A/R. Too bad they didn't spin it with DSOs - it would have looked a lot better that way.
