The claim is made that the OX-2 engine has piston rings. The impression that I get initially is that it is a swash-plate motor with a rotating cylinder block in a round case. Theoretically, the swash plate should cause the pistons to have a more constant rate of acceleration and deceleration. On the other hand, the statement has been made that the engine fires four times as often as a conventional four stroke engine. The only engine which I have seen recently that made a similiar claim was the Split Cycle engine, also from Australia. Instead of a crankshaft, the Split Cycle engine uses "geneva wheels", which look like ratchet gears. Split Cycle has a web page. The URL is ozemail.com

To all, An after thought..........someone on this BB mentioned AENG as a good short. First of all, I believe this is an extremely foolish thought. Second, AENG is a bulletin board stock. When was the last time you tried to short a bulletin board stock in your retail account? Probably never, but just incase this foolish thought gets the best of you.........retail accounts can't short bulletin board stocks. If you're a Market Maker, sure you can short AENG. You'd be a fool, but you can short the stock. How many MM are posting on this BB? A likely zero. Best of Luck, Greg
