FUGAZI, Wall St views LGND SRGN deal positively first day!

In mergers where Wall St. sees it as even neutral, the stock of the acquirer often gets marked down immediately, and often comes back a few days later. There are many examples of this.

Measured by this, the LGND deal was considered better than neutral in the short term. And we can see that it may help fill in the earnings line for 1999, when Wall St. will respond to each Cent of earnings that this newly profitable biotech, LGND, can produce.

It makes sense to me... and in my view, it makes sense to Wall St. as well, as detailed laboriously in another post.

On Wednesday we can see if the 200 dma can be climbed over - at 14 1/4.

Good luck longs,
Herbert
