PKN-HYSQ connection perkin-elmer.com dayinvestor.com HYSQ when PKN announces partnershipThere should be a great deal of work for HYSQ as a result of PKN commitment to genomics...certainly in the area of polymorphism/gene mutations. While not possible to quantify at this time...it does no doubt promise significantly more work at a much earlier time frame than was the expected just several weeks ago. PKN conference call brought no less than 3 questions asking for clarification on role HYSQ would play...ultimately, PKN descibed the role HYSQ would play as "KEY". It will be interesting to see if anyone from HYSQ will be named to the soon to be announced "Scientific Advisory Board" of PKN's new venture. You've got to believe that HYSQ, a 50% partner with PKN have been plugged in for awhile...how else can we explain 2 1/2 point gain on 6 times normal volume by HYSQ on the friday that preceded the weekend announcements by PKN!
