HELLOOOOOOOO!!!!! One cent BEFORE extraordinary charge to extinguish debt.... on 4,000,000 MORE SHARES, 18 as opposed to 14 million shares in Q2 97. Had shares remanied constant the 0.01 cent/share would have been a 0.04 cent gain compared to a break even0.00 cents/shares BEFORE an INCOME TAX BENEFIT. ***See calculaions below..all info can be found in the release.....you have to read the whole thing not just the headline****** Year over year results is what the street looks at, gross of extra gains, benefits or losses!! Besides EBITDA is what counts at this stage of the company's growth. Q2 98: EBITDA $8.2 Million Q2 97 EBITDA $1.5 million A 545% increase year/year....that's pretty damn good. Earnings before Taxes Q2 98 $1,012,000 Earnings befor taxes Q2 97 $526,000 A 100%... gain not bad while borrowing more, their net still went up...I suspect if they had the same debt expense in Q2 97 they would have reported a loss before taxes...as a matter of fact even without the higher debt expense they had a $500,000 tax benefit.....which had they been taxed at the same rate in Q2 97 net income would have been aproxx. $310,000 as opposed to $606,000...(before dividends which are already figured into the diluted shares figure) AFTER TAXES and INTEREST,.....they're now making money not getting a benefit EBITDA for the first half of FY98 $12,100,000. EBITDA Same period in 97 $2,100,000. Peroid of period increase of 576% Gee another 100 % increase...and revenue increased 450% q over q.... As far as margins....EBITDA margins doubled from 3.2 % to 7.1%...another 100% increase. We had $100,000,000 in sales for the 1st half of year, with pending acquisitions, $350,000,000 for the year looks possible....even at 1 times sales the stock would be worth: $350,000,000/26,000,000 shares =$13.46/shares All in all, if I'm reading it right, and that's a BIG IF :)), it was a very good quarter.....and the balance sheet looks good too. Of course as far as what the stock will do tomm...........I have No idea:)))))) Frank
