Most Investor relations guys watch these discussions on the companies the represent. One time I'd been calling the IR line of a company and someone was posting BS on the thread for the stock. The IR guy then calls me and asks if I'd tell the poster call him for more accurate info. The poster called IR and the story had a happy ending.

If this is going to be an internet stock, they will follow what the internet is saying about their services and company.
