Hello p friend,

Your original message #6112 at 11:38 got zapped and reappeared at 11:59, outside of the 15 minute edit time. Interesting.

Thanks for the offer. In parting with normal investment-type questions, I'd be interested in Craig's views on the effect of the deployment of world-wide wireless communcations on human society. We are in the midst of a revolution that has the potential to have a profound effect.

Thanks again.

Rob, Long Nextel

>>Please let me know what you would like me to ask Craig and, should the opportunity arise, I will ask him your question>>

Please ask Craig to have Nextel organize a Nextel user-base national community outreach program to jumpstart the awareness among civic and comunity minded individuals of potential DC has nationwide to "Build a Better World" by:

1. Making streets safer.
2. Opening up more mentoring opportunities to kids in need.
3. Help volunteer coordinate their efforts more efficiently
4. Tie individuals back to their communities
5. Build service networks that can help families.

Give Craig my information and tell him I'd like to talk directly to him or his assistant about all of the above and more.... I would be very interested in using my time and energy to help lead or coordinate with others this effort.

With IP and digital wireless technologies, we have a tremendous opportunity on our hands to "do good" in so many new ways which will help elevate people - encourage them to have hope and get them on the road to helping others - through a simple basic method : "making connections with each other".

I appreciate your offer and look forward to some feedback.

ask Craig McCaw
Has he any goal in mind for at what point he would merge or sell the business? (Wonder if he is a 'start up' person and not a "continue the business" person.)

Key questions to ask Craig or any other exec:
1) How close is the competition to offering a DC feature?
2) How is NXTL planning to compete with the eventual arrival of DC offerings by competitors?
3) Is NXTL still on track for cash-flow positive by 3Q98?
4) Is the lack of available phone numbers hurting NXTL adds in any markets?
5) When can we expect to see some international results?
6) What is NXTL doing to address quality of customer service?
7) How does NXTL's reliability of coverage compare to competition?
8) Is it true that NXTL's cost per minute of cellular use is lower than the competition, and can NXTL continue to compete on price alone?
9) What is the current capacity (no. of users) of NXTL's network, and projected capacity for near term based on their build-out?
10) Any comments on the current stock pullback?

Dear p friend

Ask them when GSA is going to grow at aleeser rate than Revenues. Do they forsee any slowing to the 7% sequential qtr. to qtr. rev. growth. Why don't they feature a weekly customer add column on their web site? That would be a great promotion. If he demurs perhaps that answers the question posed just before this one.

P.S. What is McCaw doing with the likes of an SI person in close and confidential conversations? I am a little leary of who he's keeping company with.;o)
