I agree. So do a lot of stores. They give the best display space to PCs with Intel chips. PCs with AMD chips (such as Compaqs) get second rate display space. Don't think the customers don't notice.

Have read that the AMD 266MHZ MMX is BLAZING fast. Much faster than comparable Intel chips. I don't think consumers care too much. Why then would they buy CTX computers?

What ARE you smoking?
IBM is at an all time high and they love the K-6. It's DELLs BTO system that makes them so good not Intel. Same with Gateway.
Speaking of 100% Intel, take a look at Packard Bell. Laying off 400 and losing market share. Rumors are they are switching to Cyrix to shore up the lower end.
