I really agree with you. I am thinking about exercise my 12.50 option and sell the stock thereafter to reduce the difference.

The fomula for Option premium to double is supposed to be:2@premium+strike=market price. but it rarely works out that way. for example, if CEPH is at 20, option price should be around $8. my assumption is as follows: Aug12.5 Call premium I bought was $3, in order to have 100% return, the price has to be 2x3+12.5=18.5, after that option and stock should be moving tick to tick
