MileHigh,

It looks like I didn't proofread my last post:

The following:
I think one difference between Bob and I is that I have been aggressively being Informix shares through Jan. 1998.

Should read:
I think one difference between Bob and I is that I have been aggressively buying Informix shares up through Jan. 1998 (I bought quite a few in the 4 to 5 1/2 range in Dec. 1997).

I have not sold any Leaps with a strike price of 10. To me that is not the way to go. I have sold 20 calls for Jan 1999 LEAPS at a strice price of 15 (when Informix was around 9 1/2) and when Informix has been around 9 or so I sometimes sell calls at a strike price of 10 for the next month. I have been writing covered calls on less than 50% of my Informix holdings (I also use CUBE to write covered calls on, as well as some others including TLK, which is somewhat volatile due to the terrible problems in Indonesia -- hoping the best for Indonesia and all inhabitants.
