One individual investors opinions -
* Embedded systems Y2K defects will cost billions to find & fix.
* Tava Technologies is the leading company in this field.
* The database of "unique items" is the gold mind....the CD is just one of the tunnels leading to the motherload. In my judgment, their is nothing stopping Tava from creating a password ID website and charging by the report for smaller concerns. With 600 or so days left, the basic fact remains companies will not have the time or inclination to contact each individual manufacturer with respect to whether or not their products are Y2K compliant. The smaller concerns will want to go to one source to verify as quickly and easily as possible whether their machines are going to function come January 1, 2000.
