Rumour: Siemens will acquire motorola.. Nothing to do with Sandisk directly and today but..

Mrs Burgdorf would not comment on the impact of falling component prices on SanDisk : "Dear Mr. Wittamer; Unfortunately, I am unable to answer specific questions with regards to possible financial outcomes for SanDisk. Providing you with this information would be in violation of the SEC's "selective disclosure" and "insider information" rules . Sincerely, Cindy Burgdorf" the thing is I also asked for a "general" comment on falling component prices : " Could you please briefly comment on those falling prices for flash components? => does this relate in major part to silicon wafers or as well to other raw materials?" She did not answer that question. It is not specifically related to SanDisk nor to its financial results but rather to the semiconductor industry in its entirety. I am really frustrated by this kind of answer. Any comment? Jerome
