There was no explanation when the $0.84 came out. The new estimate has a somewhat lower income (just over $100 million) instead of just over $130 million. As I have said many times, the earlier estimate was not a typo.

H&Q lowers projection by 73c: Looks like you were correct about H&Q. You were the only one on the thread who questioned the high estimate, all the yea-sayers said that 'it must be so'

If you go back, you will see that the $0.84 was discussed extensively and the number was not a typo. That was H&Q's number several weeks ago. 1999 income and earnings were changed (not corrected), yesterday (the change was due to the SRGN acquisition).
