RL broke through its brl in March and has been trading above the trend line since. However, the RS is still very negative.
Someone slightly objected when I had posted somewhere else, that buying a stock who's RS is negative with the market so extended is risky. They pointed out that isn't always the case. True enough but I'm going on averages. If the stock has a weak RS while the market is booming, what will it do if the market is not? See my point? We don't know but....
So, if you want to buy it your stop would be 23 violation of the trend line and this would also flip the monthly momentum negative.
