Would you have this cash at least be sitting in an interest bearing account?

Comments requested: I am a longer term, diversified value investor. I currently have 1/3 portfolio in cash and have been drooling over all the recent analysts upgrades and commentaries of recovering industries and upcoming new product cycles. I have watched Seagate show no signs of weakness, HWP rise to outer space, CPQ nudge and spurt. And all this time I've restrained myself from jumping in. I get this feeling that we are in a euphoric period just preceding the Fed meeting, where everyone gives the pretense that they are concerned about the Fed rate, but in fact no one believes it will be raised so stocks surge higher. Now HWP gives crushing news after the bell, and IBM looks a little strange. Could it be that with earnings warning season coming soon in earnest, and with this tangible evidence that others will follow, that as soon as the Feds leave the interest rate unchanged we will now see a 3 - 4 week good-sized correction?

Appreciate any feedback.
Saving my cash for the good ones, and HWP was one of them. Glad I didn't buy in the $80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark.
