come a second time to set up His physical kingdom on earth and that He actually touches down in
Jerusalem where He will rule from"

Why would the focus of the end times be on those Jews and their new religion of Talmudic Judaism rather than on the remnant of Jews who accepted Jesus and the Christian Church they founded? The Christian Church is the fulfillment of Old Testament Judaism. Why would Christ want to return and rule with the people who rejected Him rather than with His people---the Jews who accepted Him?
There are no Scriptures to support this position. The only way you can make such a case is to remove the chosen status from the hundreds of thousands of Jews who accepted Jesus in the first century. These Jews created and became the Christian Church. Their descendents are in the many millions today and are called Christians. They are ONE with the Body of Chirst. For 2000 thousands years the Christian Church as been called the chosen of God. They are the New Jerusalem. They are the daughter of Zion. They are the bride of Christ. They are a royal priesthood. They are ths sons of God. They are the Holy Nation of God.

Jesus does not have two brides. The bride of Christ are those who say yes to his proposal--'come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden'.

Jesus made a New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah and the old covenant passed away according to Heb. 8:9. ((In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now tha which decayeth and waxetn old is ready to vanish away.))
Why would Jesus want to go back to an old ineffectual covenant when He has his New Covenant Isarael people?

Bob, this belief is not based on the Scriptures but on the popular view projected to the world by the Zionist leaders. The Zionist leaders control the news media in America and the world. They have used this control to project an image of Israel as God's chosen people and the fulfillment of Scriptures. Both the Christian and nonchristian masses are now singing their song. We are in the great deception of the end times. God tells us in the Scriptures that even the very elect would be deceived if the times were not cut short.

Do not take the glory and the honor of the children of God and give it to the children of darkness.

"We are all sincerely seeking the truth. There is a thread of truth in many of the different views about Israel."

Yes, and I must commend puttinhead for establishing and maintaining this thread in an open spirit of seeking for truth.
I also appreciate everyone who contributes that heartfelt beliefs.
An open spirit of discussion among Christians with prayer, fasting and the submission to the Holy Spirit will produce the fruits that God desires.

So thanks to puddinhead, Robert, Bob, Grandpa, Alpha and Omega and all others who are contributing their honest opinions and understanding about these endtimes.
