OK, I guess a lot depends on continued growth in the sales of PC's.

Again, if it makes 110 -- I'll buy puts. Good luck.

Have to add something else here -- our IS dept put everything on the network a few months back using the microsoft server concept. Ease of maintainability -- they said. Network goes down about twice a week -- they are poor at network managment -- you might say -- but suppose it were only once a month -- during that time the apps are unavailable. When they are available they are slower even though we've been upgraded to 233 Mhz machines. I found out where the apps were on the network and down loaded the apps to my machine -- no more worries about network troubles.

What's my point? All these ease of use arguments don't mean $$%# to the end user -- they are for IS weenies. When times get tough IS depts are going to have to produce real improvements, not jsut buy the latest bloatware from Mr. Bill. It's gonna happen -- don't know whether it's going to be this year or not, but people will be forced to look at the return on investment at some point. This spells trouble ahead, IMO for PC makers, networkers and even MSFT.
